Heavy duty logger in an IP65 (NEMA 4X) sealed "Peli case", normally used by power distribution companies, voltage and energy optimisations companies, facilities management, electrical or site services and maintenance engineers to monitor voltage variations on site helping them to diagnose any voltage related issues, or to gather data perhaps to make representations to their power supplier. Voltage optimisation companies also use the product to monitor voltage levels pre and post optimisation. The EC-4VF has an integral Phase Sequence/Rotation Checker and records frequency (40 - 70 Hz) on voltage input L1.

The average voltage supply from the UKs National Grid is often higher than the
ideal operating voltage for most electrical equipment like lighting and motors.
For example, a 230V linear appliance used on a 240V supply will take
4.3% more current and will consume almost
