Important Notes for Windows 95 Users

If you are having problems running Electrosoft, or if you encounter an error message similar to the one below:

"Exception EldWS2StubError in module ELECTROSOFT.EXE at 00156988. Error on loading Winsock 2 library (WS2_32.DLL). One of the library files needed to run this application cannot be found."

and you are using Windows 95 original release, it is possible that you need to upgrade your Windows 95 installation to use Winsock v2.0. This error is occuring because Electrosoft uses features that are missing in the very first original release of Windows 95. To remove this error message, please install the Microsoft updates to your PC. These two updates can be downloaded from:

It is recommended that you consult with your company's IT Manager before installing these updates.

These patches may also solve email problems being experienced when running Electrosoft under Windows 95 OSR2 or greater.
